Kiama-Gerringong Coastal Walk (May 2017)

We have a tradition of going away somewhere for Mother’s Day because the weather is generally still pretty good and there’s nothing like getting away for a few days. After years spent going west (the Blue Mountains, Sofala) or south inland (Canberra) Mum decided that she’d like to spend the weekend in the seaside town of Kiama on the New South Wales south coast (staying at the very impressive Easts Beach Caravan Park) and tackle the very popular Coastal Walk. Not the full length, from Minamurra to Gerringong, mind you, but a nice 10km slab of it from Kiama to Gerringong. We had pretty amazing weather, too!

Never knew how big Easts Beach Caravan Park was until I saw it from the ridge.
