Minnamurra Falls (May 2017)

The second half of our Kiama weekend for Mother’s Day 2017 was a walk at Minnamurra Falls Rainforest Centre in the Budderoo National Park, just a short drive through the rolling green hills from Kiama.

One thing to remember about the walks at Minnamurra – and especially The Falls Walk, which we tackled – is that when the sign says there’s a hill to climb, there’s absolutely no exaggeration. All the walks go pretty much straight up from the Visitor’s Centre and car park, but it’s a beautiful place to visit. Just take some good shoes, plenty of water, and your camera, of course.

Nothing like a good suspension bridge to get the walk started!
